A message from the Chair of the KUMA Board

Tēnā koutou katoa

Kei te whānau o KUMA, naia te mihi manahau ki a koutou katoa, me ngā mihi o Hui-Tanguru, o te tau (ahua!) hou.

The Board is looking forward to reporting on the activities of KUMA over the past 14 months, at our AGM on Tuesday 6 March at 12pm at Block H Room 206A, Otago Polytechnic, Forth Street, Dunedin (parking is limited  around the Uni/Polytech: warning you now in case you are running late!).

Please would you indicate by email to our Administrator, Rebecca, (tautoko@kuma.co.nz ) if you are attending.

Keep your eye on our FB page and website for any updates.

We will have copies of the revised Constitution (small administrative changes), updated Board policies (Financial Management, Risk Management, and Health and Safety Policy) to view at the AGM.

You may request copies of these documents from  Rebecca (tautoko@kuma.co.nz ) following the AGM, and we will put these onto our website as well.

We expect to have at least one new Board member voted in to join Janine, Jeff, Toni, Corey, Karen and myself, and thereby fill our general skills areas of

1.     Cultural awareness.

2.     Strategy.

3.     Business development.

4.     Accounting/Risk.

5.     Marketing.

If you would like to join the Board, bringing the total number of Board members to 8 including the Chair, please ensure you contact Rebecca for a nomination form that needs to be signed by two paid up members of KUMA.

Please email me (claire@kuma.co.nz) or any of our Board if you have any matters to bring to the attention of the AGM.

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa

nā Claire Porima
