During the KUMA Puaka Matariki hui on 23 June, the KUMA whānau expressed its gratitude for Richard Kerr-Bell's long service to the community of Māori businesses in Otago and Southland.
Richard has guided the KUMA waka for almost eight years, and has now stepped aside so he can pursue his own ever growing interests as an educator, counsellor, businessman, author, leader, football coach, husband and father.
Richard was warmly thanked for his leadership and tireless service to KUMA, both at a Board level and a member level.
Members of KUMA presented Richard with a small token of their aroha and gratitude.
Ahakoa he iti, nā te aroha.
