Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is starting public outreach meeting

This week, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is starting public outreach meetings across the country to hear about people’s experiences of human rights in New Zealand.

These meetings will inform a draft national report that MFAT will write addressing a broad range of current human rights issues in New Zealand. This will be consulted online in mid-2018, and shared directly with all people who attend the public outreach sessions.

Information about the public outreach sessions is attached. Attendees can find out more at http://www.mfat.govt.nz/upr2019 or email UPR2019@mfat.govt.nz and register to attend at www.UPR2019.co.nz.
