KUMA Annual General Meeting

Please join us at our Annual General meeting  on March 6, at 12 noon.

Venue: Te Puna Owheo, Behind D Block on Harbour Terrace, Otago Polytechnic

KUMA are calling for one (or two) new Board members, ideally living outside Dunedin and who can represent the southern and central regions.

If you run (or have run) your own business (micro, small or large; private or NFP)  and you also want some Board governance experience, consider becoming a KUMA Board member.  Your contribution will bring new ideas and fresh perspectives.  As we are small, our Board duties are not complicated.  It is a great opportunity to learn new skills with a very inclusive and collaborative team of people.  Ideally you will have a passion for promoting Māori business, innovation, and growth in our region, and your general skills may fall under one or more of these categories (as articulated in KUMA’s draft Charter):

1.     Knowledge of Tikanga me Te Reo Māori

2.     Strategy.

3.     Business development.

4.     Accounting/Risk.

5.     Marketing/Events.
