Located in the spectacular Fiordland National Park, the dramatic Hollyford Track wilderness experience is one ofthe greatest guided walks in New Zealand.

Explore undisturbed and inspiring scenery that has remained largely untouched for thousands of years, from the snow capped mountains of the majestic Southern Alps, ancient native rain forest, pristine rivers and lakes to the remote sand dunes, reef and surf of the rugged West Coast

Journey into the dramatic Hollyford Valley and enter a world that has remained largely unchanged for thousands of years.  It is New Zealands wilderness at its most primal and inspiring.  Your HollyfordTrack experience begins among ancient Beech forest beneath the soaring, snow-capped Darran Mountains.  Along this moderately challenging 3 day walk you’ll encounter crystal clear waters, mirror-like lakes, waterfalls, reefs, sand-dunes and surf.

The sheer diversity of vegetation and wildlife in this valleyis something very special. The bird life is abundant:  Wood Pigeon, Kea, Kaka, Bellbirds, Warblers, Robins, Chaffinches, Cuckoo, Tui, White Heron as well as many species of sea birds are common.  You’ll visit a colony of seals and during certain months you may catch a glimpse of the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin.
